2021 wrappedIt’s a Wrap

2021 has been quite a year for us all. With COVID-19 still ever-present, and vaccines made available for the public early in the year, many legal implications have arisen that have spilled over into the workplace. As a result, many organization’s needs from their Human Capital Management (HCM) systems have changed, and PeopleGuru has, and will, continue to pivot and adjust to meet these needs.

In a post-lockdown world, there is a vast array of work modes in place across organizations. While some organizations have remained remote, others have shifted to a hybrid work model, and many have returned to the office completely. Technology adoption and deployment is a priority now more than ever before as employers need to unify a dispersed workforce.

Nevertheless, employers have had to flex to more empathetic management styles as mental and physical health and work/life balance have taken precedence in our society. Feedback is being valued more than ever before, and skill development is being prioritized as well.

Finally, we have faced a massive shift in the workforce due to The Great Resignation, leaving many organizations scrambling for systems and methods to effectively attract and retain employees.

PeopleGuru’s Year

At PeopleGuru, we have been lucky to continue to experience growth within our organization and industry. We have managed to introduce several new features to PeopleGuru HCM in 2021 including scheduling and health check to meet the growing demands of complex work models and COVID-19 health mandates.

Some other new capabilities include the Employee Mobile App, the Advance Report Writer, and the Expense Management Tool.

Another milestone has been the introduction of our PeopleGuru Kiosk. With Facial Recognition, Biometrics, Badge Reading, and Touchless Punch capabilities, the kiosk is highly configurable, user-friendly, and the perfect solution for Time and Attendance keeping.

Finally, we have been producing loads of educational content and events in 2021 and have so much planned for 2022. With so much content, we wanted to highlight some of your favorites for the year.

On The Horizon

In 2022, we will be rolling out even more features and enhancements to PeopleGuru HCM, as well as engaging HR content. With such a dynamic, changing ecosystem, we remain committed to staying on top of what is happening at a federal and state level to keep all of our unique industries compliant.

Early next year, you can expect the roll out of our Learning Management System (LMS). PeopleGuru Learning will empower your people to further develop their skills, participate in trainings, manage certifications, and optimize overall organizational compliance.

Our PeopleGuru Kiosk will soon include temperature check capabilities to further ensure the health and safety of employees and employers working on-site.
